These trees standing at 222 Geumnanghwa-gil (799 Banghwa-dong) are over 400 years old, and are said to have been planted by a government minister during the reign of King Jungjong of Joseon.
The residents believe these trees are guardians of their village connecting the past and the present and regard them as sacred. The site provides various stories and it is a relaxation place for residents.
