▶ 수업 목표
Students to learn English by using English
Provide language support – vocabulary, grammar, functional phrases
▶ 수업 진행 방향
Introduce the topic of the lessons and present the new vocabulary.
Check comprehension, do the book exercises, do pair work and group conversation practice.
Answer questions about vocabulary and grammar.
▶ 강의 계획
1주 – Introduce yourself/ class introduction/ ask your teacher, book introduction
2주 – Unit 3 Think about it – Ask and answer questions about confirmation bias
Vocabulary: confirmation bias, word formation, phrasal verbs
3주 – Grammar: future time clauses (after, as soon as, before, until, when), present perfect progressive
4주 – Speaking: Discuss confirmation bias, talk about expert systems, compare different objects
5주 – Reading: Read an article about confirmation bias
6주 – Listening: Listen to a radio show about AI, listen to a talk about being creative
7주 – Unit 4 Beyond words – Present a subject you know
8주 – Vocabulary: Communication, ways to communicate, emojis
9주 – Grammar: Infinitives with to, separable and non-separable phrasal verbs
10주 – Speaking – Give a presentation, make statements about yourself, discuss ways to communicate
11주 – Reading: Read an article about communication
12주 – Listening: Listen to a podcast, listen to a lecture about communication technology
