Students to learn English by using English
Provide language support – vocabulary, grammar, functional phrases

Introduce the topic of the lessons and present the new vocabulary.
Check comprehension, do the book exercises, do pair work and group conversation practice.
Answer questions about vocabulary and grammar.

1주 – Introduce yourself/ class introduction/ ask your teacher, book introduction
2주 – Unit 3 Fun and games – Express likes and dislikes
Vocabulary: Likes and dislikes, free-time activities, special events
3주 – Grammar: Simple present statements and yes/no questions, the imperative
4주 – Speaking: Talk about things you like to do, recommend free-time activities, describe an event
5주 – Reading: Read a magazine interview
6주 – Listening: Listen to a phone conversation about an event, listen to a recorded advertisement
7주 – Unit 4 That’s life – Talk about daily activities
8주 – Vocabulary: Where you live, places in a neighborhood, directions
9주 – Grammar: adjectives, there is / there are
10주 – Speaking: Talk about where you live, discuss a neighborhood, give directions
11주 – Reading: Read an article about unusual places to live
12주 – Listening: Listen to a radio show about neighborhoods, listen to conversations asking for directions
