As part of the "Project for Creating Parks in Former Plant Sites," the park was created on the site of the former Seongjin Glass plant through investment of KRW600 million won, and opened on June 18, 1998. Adjacent to Gayang Housing Development District, the park consists of greens (1,197 m2) and trails (783 m2), totaling 1,980 m2. Its main facilities include a glass sculpture, an octagonal pavilion, square pergolas (shady shelter), drinking fountains, rattan and other chairs.
