Kkachisan Mountain is not an independent mountain but is part of the range of mountains connected with Bongjesan Mountain. When you look toward Sinwol-ri under Kkachisan Mountain on an autumn evening, you can see golden ears of rice dancing in the wind over the never-ending idyllic fields, slightly inclined westward, and numerous sparrows and magpies flying in the sky, building their nests in the trees halfway up the mountain. The name of the mountain is said to have come from this (Kkachi means magpie in Korea). Loved by local residents, this park provides a trail created as part of the restoration of urban ecological forests, as well as sports facilities such as badminton courts.
